I have a wide range of interests. Skiing My favorite ski areas in the East are Pico Mountain [great cruisers], and Mount Snow [except on holiday weekends] in Vermont. Out West, I've enjoyed Squaw Valley [great variety of terrain], Alpine Meadows [views of Lake Tahoe are superb] and Vail [more mountain than most people can ski in a week]. Reading Favorite authors - James Michener [Hawaii, The Scource, Centennial, and others]; Leon Uris [Trinity, Redemption]; James Clavell [Shogun, Tai-pan] and Nelson deMille [Plum Island, The General's Daughter and The Gold Coast]. Trains Favorite trips are the Cumbres & Toltec in southern CO, northern NM, the Durango & Silverton [Durango, CO], and the Swiss Railway over the St. Gotthard's Pass from Zurich to Lugano. Tennis I play in a men's doubles group bi-weekly and more often if I can. I'm a terror at the net, and my serve is strong, but too erratic. I'm not a USTA member, but by their guidelines I'm probably a 3.0. Music Mostly 60-80's rock - favorite artists - Blood Sweat and Tears [especially their early stuff] Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young [Deja Vu is my all time favorite album], Cream, Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart, Phil Collins, REM, and Carole King. Sports I'm a NY/NJ guy with roots in Brooklyn. The first baseball game I remember watching was Game 7 of the 1955 World Series. It was followed by the largest party in the streets I can remember. My first game in person was at Ebbet's Field. As a consequence I'm still a Dodger fan [and yes, 1958 still hurts some]. Favorites LA Dodgers
